Support
The first hour after installing Linux is where most people decide whether they're sticking with it. A lot of that comes down to hitting avoidable walls — wrong distro, wrong DE, something that worked on Windows but behaves differently here. I help you skip that part.

WHAT I HELP WITH
- Distro selection — There's no universally right answer. I'll ask what your hardware is, what you want to do with the machine, and how much you want to deal with the terminal. Then I'll give you an honest recommendation.
- Installation & setup — Clean install, partitioning, dual-boot if you need it, and the post-install steps that the installer doesn't tell you about.
- Wayland & display config — Multi-monitor, fractional scaling, compositor selection, fixing the stuff that doesn't work out of the box with your GPU.
- Desktop environment setup — KDE, GNOME, Hyprland, niri, whatever. Getting it configured the way you actually want it, not just the defaults.
- Peripherals — Printers, drawing tablets, controllers, anything that needs special attention on Linux.
- Package management — Flatpak, AUR, Nix, understanding what your distro's package ecosystem actually looks like.
- Windows migration — What runs natively, what runs through compatibility layers, what you should just replace. No hand-waving.
HOW IT WORKS
Screen share session. We look at where you're at, figure out what's not working, and fix it. I'll explain what I'm doing so you can handle it yourself next time — the goal is for you to be self-sufficient, not dependent on me for every update.
